MedStar Health and the MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute (MHVI) are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible cardiologist to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary academic cardiovascular team in Washington, DC. This position offers the opportunity to practice at two premier institutions:

Position Highlights:
- A majority of the clinical time is spent as a dedicated cardiac imager with a focus on cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI
- Participate in both inpatient and outpatient clinical cardiology
- Collaborate with a nationally recognized team of cardiovascular experts at both MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital
- Perform and interpret a broad spectrum of advanced cardiac imaging studies, including echocardiography (TTE, TEE, stress echo), cardiac MRI, and/or cardiac CT
- Participate in clinical care, teaching, and research within a vibrant academic environment
- Contribute to the training of cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students
- Academic faculty appointment available through Georgetown University School of Medicine
- Support and develop ongoing research initiatives with access to a rich academic infrastructure

Qualifications:
- MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease
- Advanced training and proficiency in cardiac imaging (Level II/III training in echocardiography, cardiac CT and/or MRI preferred)
- Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, education, clinical care, and research
- Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia
