Description
Meharry Medical College, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has an outstanding opportunity for an OB/GYN Generalist to provide services at the Meharry Medical Practice Group and Nashville General Hospital, and other partnering hospitals in the Nashville area and surrounding areas.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Meharry Medical College is seeking a full-time General Obstetrician and Gynecologist to provide care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. This physician will join a department that provides safe, high-quality, cost-effective obstetrical and gynecological care using evidence-based medicine and best practices. Physicians in this role will participate in gynecology service call coverage, surgical procedures, and ambulatory care. Outpatient care services will be established initially within the Women’s Health Center on the Meharry campus and at affiliated community health centers. The Department’s multi-disciplinary team includes OB/GYN generalists and subspecialists, advanced practitioners, genetic counseling, and integrative services for women. Additionally, this position will offer opportunities to contribute to the practice's growth, which will include areas such as Complex Family Planning, GYN Oncology, and Pediatric GYN.

Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Active/eligible for medical licensure in Tennessee.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and academic pursuits.
- Support objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level.
